Safe return to the pool
To keep everyone safe, we would like parents to take note of the Updated Club Illness Policy effective from 03 June 2020:
Parents are requested to keep their child home if they are exhibiting signs of acute illness, such as ANY of the following:
temperature 37.5C or above
The swimmer should be symptom free for 48 hours before returning to training.
This policy applies to every swimmer in PN, DN, EN and Junior squads - no exemptions!
Please remember that these requirements are a condition of returning to the pool and are designed by the authorities to enable tracing of any contact pathways should somebody test positive to COVID-19.
Training at either venue
A roll call will be conducted outside of HBF Stadium or UWA pool for the swimmers who are training in that session. Only swimmers who have their names on the list provided by the club will be allowed entry into the training venue. The roll call will be conducted by a volunteer.
Arrive no earlier than 5 minutes at your designated entry door.
Late arrivals will not be admitted to the pool.
Parents are not allowed access to either training venue.
No sharing of equipment
Toilets are open, but no change room or shower facilities available.
Hand sanitiser will be provided at both venues and must be used upon entry to the venue.
Swimmers are to maintain 1.5m social distancing at all times whilst moving through the facility
All sessions will finish on time. Parents please be punctual for pick up and be waiting at the designated finish time.
